KIDS CHURCH
Sunday | 10:30 am
Welcome Families!
We are so excited for you and your children to visit us at KIDS CHURCH. We have kids Sunday programming at our 10:30 am service.
At Kids Church, we want kids to make life-long friends while encountering and learning about Jesus. the Son of God and the Savior of the world.
We have 4 classrooms available:
Nursery – 6 months old to 2.5 years old. (infants and walkers)
Preschool – restroom independent 2.5 years old to Transitional Kindergarten
Younger Elementary – Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
Older Elementary – 3rd Grade to 5th Grade
What to expect:
Kids will engage in a fun and engaging Bible lesson, enjoy games and crafts, and learn a memory verse and a challenge to live out their faith during the week. We want to be a place where kids can find love and belonging, where they can believe and put their trust in Jesus, the Savior of the World, and where they can become the blessing to their communities using the gifts, talents, and treasures that God has given them.
Follow the signs to our first floor Check-In area which will guide you to where the classrooms are. You will walk your child and drop them off to their rooms where a friendly leader will greet you. Kids Church ends at the end of our worship gathering at around 11:15 am. Pick-up will be at the same room you dropped your child off.
**God Sightings – After check-in it is our practice to ask parents and kids, “Where did you see God this week?” For our preschool and elementary kids, we ask them to write or draw where they’ve encountered God this past week. It might have been at someone’s birthday party, at school, at their sports practice, at a dance recital, at Disneyland, at home, in their grandparents house. The God Sightings gets pinned at a wall close to their classrooms. It’s encouraging to see how even at an early age, kids know that God is moving and active and caring for them, everywhere they go.
What are they learning:
At our Nursery, our volunteers will care for your child, play worship music and pray for them. We love to read books to the little ones, and the nursery is full of nursery books from the Bible.
At our Preschool Tidepool class, we are using the AWANA Cubbies curriculum and tailor fitting it to their level. We also offer Cubbies midweek on Wednesdays, and the Kids Church curriculum walks through another Cubbies book different than Wednesdays. (For example, if Wednesdays uses HoneyComb Handbook, Sundays we use the AppleSeed Handbook)
At both our Younger and Older Elementary classes, we are using AWANA Brite Curriculum. This curriculum supplements the midweek AWANA experience. We divide our time into three sections (Make it Fun – Welcome Activity, Make it Stick – Lesson, and Make it Real – Game or Craft).

AWANA
AWANA REGISTRATION IS LIVE!
AWANA stands for Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed from 2 Timothy 2:15. It is our child discipleship program that is both Highly Scriptural and Highly Relational. At AWANA we help kids hide God’s Word in their hearts and make life-long friends. We want kids to respond to the love of God in Jesus that they respond in worship and give their lives to the Lord and live generous lives now.
We are excited to offer AWANA this Fall on Wednesday evenings again.

What: Join us for a week away at Hume Lake’s Wagon Train Sleep Away Camp. Sending your child to Hume is giving them an opportunity they will never forget! Wagon Train presents the gospel to the kids in an engaging and exciting way through the use of fun themes, energetic worship, morning prayer, daily wagon devotion time, daily skits and campfire worship at night. There are also high-energy, innovative games that give campers and counselors a chance to encourage team-building and allow lots of time for laughter and fun. There is also free time every day where kids get to partake in activities like ziplining, giant rope swings, kayaking, crafting, going to the pool, visiting the snack shop, relaxing and hanging out with friends, or participating in organized activities around camp. Each day there is also rec time, and during this time, campers participate in organized activities led by the counselors, such as repelling, archery, BB guns, hiking, crafts, playing a game called D&G (which is a combination of Hide and Seek and Dodge Ball – that is a favorite among the campers). Lastly, there is an all-camp water day, where all of the games and activities take place at the pool. All of the campers and counselors participate in water day. It is so much fun. Afterwards, we have a huge BBQ on the lawn. A week at camp can be life-changing; it has been for many students that we have taken up with us in past years! I hope you will consider sending your child up with us this year!
Cost: Though camp is normally $800 per child, Christ Pacific has decided to fund 50% of each child’s registration, therefore, the entire week is only $400 per child.
