Our deacons are more than a friendly face you’ll see on Sundays. They are servants, ministering to the body in practical ways. They may assist as ushers, tend to those in need, help with the vision of the Christ Pacific and our community. No matter how they serve, Scripture makes it clear that ministering as a deacon is a rewarding and honorable calling in the church. Lucky to have this group leading us
Meet Our Deacons
Deacons serve the church and the community in many ways, including prayer, meals during an illness, of recovery period, help at the time of the loss of a family member including serving the memorial service. You can also look forward to receiving a card from your Deacon on your birthday and at Christmas and Easter.
As set forth in Scripture, the office of Deacon is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Our duty as Deacons is to build relationships with our assigned zone, minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress.
